"True worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and
truth: for the Father is seeking such to worship Him."
John 4:23

HOLY
SPIRIT FELLOWSHIP
What we believe
1.
WORSHIP - The primary purpose of man is to be a worshipper of
God. We offer our worship to God the Father, through Jesus the
Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in our hearts.
2.
THE GODHEAD - There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing
eternally in three persons. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
are each a distinct personality.
3.
JESUS CHRIST - Jesus is true God and true man., He was conceived
by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless
life. He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for
our sins. He rose from the dead and is now seated at the right
hand of the Father where He is our great high priest. The second
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal
and visible. We, the living church, will be raptured and meet
Him in the air.
4.
THE HOLY SPIRIT - The Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to
indwell, guide, teach and empower each believer and convince the
world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. We believe that
the Baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of other tongues,
as The Spirit gives utterance, is for all Christians who ask for
it. All nine gifts of The Spirit are in operation today.
5.
THE SCRIPTURES - The Bible is the divine word of God, written
by holy men of old as they were moved by The Holy Spirit. We accept
the new testament as our guide in matters pertaining to Christian
living and doctrine.
6. DIVINE HEALING - God uses doctors and medicine to heal our
bodies but divine healing was practiced by Jesus Himself in His
earthly ministry. It should also be practiced by the church today.
It is the privilege of every believer to receive the blessing
which the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides.
7. THE CHURCH - The church is the body of Christ of which He is
the head. The true church consists of those who have been born
again, accepting the provisions which Christ has made for our
salvation.
8. ORDINANCES - The two ordinances of the church are water baptism
and the Lord’s supper. These ordinances are commanded by
Jesus.
9. RESURRECTION - Our bodily resurrection is guaranteed by the
resurrection of Christ. It will be a resurrection of life for
the believer and judgment for the wicked. We will live eternally
with God in heaven. The lost will live eternally in hell, outside
of His presence.
